FOUNDER – DR. CHRIS FOREMAN
Chris is a retired Southern Baptist pastor who lives in San Mateo, California with his beautiful wife, Liz. He has a Bachelor’s degree from Ball State University, a Doctorate in Education from the University of Oregon, and a Master’s degree from Golden Gate Seminary. He has two sons and four grandchildren. He is a retired U.S. Army Major. BOARD OF DIRECTORS
DR. FRANK FOREMAN President Frank is a pediatric dentist living in Vancouver, Washington. He holds dental degrees from the University of Washington and Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a retired U.S. Air Force Colonel. He and his wife, Lelia, have ministered in Rwanda with his brother, Chris, on multiple occasions. They have five children and six grandchildren. |
JAVIN BAKKE VICE-PRESIDENT Javin served as executive director of CASA from July 2013 until October 2014 During that time he split his time between Rwanda and Washington State in order to facilitate the completion of the Lighthouse Ministry Center. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Washington State University and now lives in Kirkland, Washington. |
ZACHARY FOREMAN SECRETARY Zachary graduated with honors in International Relations from Stanford University and obtained Masters degrees in Theology and Philosophy from the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology at the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA. He has a background in campus, young adult and youth ministry. He traveled to East Africa several times as a missionary and is proud to carry on his parents legacy in Rwanda. He and his wife Ruth have two children and are living in Pittsburgh, PA. |
SHIRLEY HARDY TREASURER Shirley and her husband, Ken, have been involved with missions over their long service to the Church. They have led several missions to Chile and many others to the poor in America. In 2015, 2016, and 2017, they led mission teams from Western Hills Church in San Meteo to minister in Rwanda with CASR. During her professional career, Shirley worked for Wells Fargo bank and for three school districts in San Mateo county in payroll and benefits. |
